The first issue of Naturally Australia magazine, published by Roxby Media on behalf of the Complementary Healthcare Council (CHC), hit the streets this week with a 100,000 print run. Designed to inspire readers about natural health and wellbeing, the magazine is backed by some of the major industry heavyweights and has a cross platform strategy incorporating print and a website complimented by mobile and social apps.

The launch includes a 100,000 print run with a two week promotional campaign taking place at iconic Australian landmarks and major transit areas across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The launch is supported by television and radio campaigns with SBS and NOVA FM.Other channels include social media, iPad and mobile technology, online editions and post launch distribution via selected newsstands and Go Vita stores.

Key advertising partners include Blackmores, Health World, Integria Healthcare, Pfizer and Swisse. Naturally Australia is edited by Ingerlise Svaleng and provides readers with inspirational articles and tips for how to enhance health and wellbeing naturally. The glossy bi-annual magazine covers all aspects of natural health and lifestyle, including exercise and fitness, mental health and wellbeing, food and nutrition, complementary medicines, natural beauty, holidays and getaways.
David Collett, CEO of Roxby Media, the national media partner of the CHC, said, We are delighted to work with the CHC in undertaking such a major consumer project to educate and motivate consumers nationwide. The CHCs Political and Consumer Affairs Director, Justin Howden, noted that vitamins and supplements (known as Complementary Medicines) are a major science based and research driven consumer industry, used by 75 per cent of Australian adults.

As peak body for the industry, the CHC continues to engage consumers and inform them of the need to balance nutrition, lifestyle and health - and where necessary discuss their situation with health professionals to get the most out of life.
